Sabine's Gull (Xerna sabini)

A very elegant commission, one of the best looking gull species out there for sure! These holarctic guys breed in the Arctic Circle but they can reach as far as Australia looking for wintering grounds.
This is the most challenging bird I have done so far, it became more a piece of engineering than a piece of art and this is why exactly why I love taking requests, you never know when the next jump in your learning is going to be!
It took a lot longer than expected but it was an undeniable amazing experience, I didn't release it until becoming fully satisfied with the results
By the way! It's 7 inches long.
